Gregori family in the Netherlands

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Gregori family in the Netherlands

Post by Leurink »

My name is Dirk Leurink, from Woerden in the Netherlands. In the 30s of the 20e century many icemakers came to Holland. In May 1932 arrived in Woerden two brothers from Vodo di Cadore, Pietro Antonio Gregori (born 19-01-1905) and Bortolo Eugenio Gregori, born 25-11-1911) In 1936 also arrived Lia Ester Talamini, wife of Pietro Antonio, with their daughter Cecilia (age 5). After that Bortola Lucia Gregori arrived. She fell in love with the butchers son Clementinus (Tiny). In 1939 Tiny and Bortola gave notice that they had plans to get married. The marriage has not continued. The Gregori's returned to Italy. In the early sixties, Tiny and his (Dutch) wife visited (in Vodo di Cadore) Pietro Antonio Gregori for two weeks.
Questions: who can tell me more about Pietro Antonio, Bortolo Eugenio and Bortola Lucia?

My great grandmother, Angela Maddelena Gregori (de Carli) was the sister of your GioMaria who's son was Pietro.
I have the church records of the family back to the 1700's from Vodo. I will private message you.
