What actually brought me to this web site was a search I did on my Grandmother's name and the town in Italy she was born in. Somebody had wanted information about her family. My Grandmother was Antonetta Castelluccio. She came from Faiano Italy and I thought perhaps I could help the person posting her name. I am not exactly sure how this site works. I recently visited the town my Grandmother was born in and now I have the names of her brothers and sisters.

Some sweet, sweet person responded to my post and found my grandfather's (Guerino Caseino) and aunt's (Antonetta "Big Mary" Caseino) birth records!!! My aunt also released family photos. Hi. I am the great granddaughter of Carmon Caseino (listed as Herman Caseino in a previous post) (also spelled Cascino by other family members) and Carmela Castelucio. William Caseino (birth name was Guerino Cascino prior to immigration to the US) is my grandfather. The Caseinos are related to the De Sio family. Philomina Castilucci is listed as my grandfather's mother on his death certificate. I cannot locate any records of Philomina. Is anyone familiar with the name? Thank you, Stephanie Rodis Scott

The family's ship passenger record indicates arrived in the US on February 20, 1912. The family is listed as from Faiano, Province of Salerno, Italy. The listing includes:
Carmine Cascino, age 32
Carmela Castelluccio, age 23, his wife
Guerino Cascino, age 2, his child
Antonetta Cascino, age 1, his child.
