Please Help with Death Record Translation

Post by debbiemfitalian »

Hi all,

I would appreciate help translating this death record of Angelo Bianchi. In addition to the dates of birth and death for Angelo, is there a village in Como that is stated? I don't think it states where he was born? I don't see the work nato. And what does it state after the name Agostino? Agostino and Maria are my family names, so trying to track this down.

Thank you so much for your help !

Act of death #557 - Angelo Bianchi
Dated 18 December 1922
Angelo Bianchi died at 1:15 AM on the 18th, at the house in Via Pietro Boldoni #3. He was 73 years of age, a fruit vendor who resided in Como, born in Como to deceased Agostino, weaver residing in Como, and to deceased Maria Bianchi, housewife residing in Como [in their lifetimes]. He was the husband of Rosa di Figini.
The declarants were: Giuseppe Bianchi, 37, boatman residing in Como; and Fermo Frigerio, 57, town messenger residing in Como.
Witnesses to the recording of the death: Giuseppe Benzoni, 37, public servant; and Battista Beretta, 47, town messenger.

Looks like he was born in the Comune/town of Como.
