Help with Mazzaglia Marriage 1736

Post by DP17 »

Can someone please help me with this record and the papers that follow it that pertain to it? I want to make sure I have their parents' names correct and that I understand the purpose of the papers. The record is digital image number 887 and the papers are images 888-890

December 17, 1736 in Nicolosi

Groom is Carmelo Mazzaglia. Father not named on the record but listed as Nunzio in the papers. Mother is Maria possibly Assero or L'Asuta.

Bride is Catharina (Caterina) Longo. Father is the late Francesco and mother is Placida Savo di ?

I thought the papers would have something to do with Carmelo's father not being listed on the record. One of the letters looks like it says something about nutrition and a woman feeding her son. What else am I missing?
