Please help with translation

Post by Italiaup »

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1642722.

I am not computer savvy at all so I hope I did the link correctly. I believe I found my Grandfathers birth written in the San Martino Canavese record of births. The link above is for what I think is the record on the left page. I believe it might be his sister on the right hand page. The name Peter Martin Massoglia is what I believe is the name written on the bottom of the previous page.
Could someone please tell me if the name is Peter Martin Massoglia and what they say the parents names are and the date? The ledger says 1870 but all his documents except his death say 1875 for the birth so not 100% positive what is correct.
Thank you so much to anyone who can help me.

The record you're looking for starts at the bottom right of image 94, record #8, for Pietro Martino Massoglia. He was born on March 3, 1870 at 2.am. and was the son of Giuseppe Massoglia and Anna Ricca. Giuseppe was age 32, and the the son of deceased Pietro Massoglia and deceased Maria Andrina. Anna Ricca, who was living with her husband, was the daughter the daughter of Martino (Ricca).

The other record to which you refer has different parents.

Thank you so much. I am really confused because his other documents say 6/13/1875 except his death certificate which says 6/13/1870. On one of his records I found it says father Dominick and mother Anna.
Could I please ask you to look at this record and see what the date and parents listed are?
I really am grateful. We have written to the commune requesting the birth document but it will probably be weeks of not months before we receive it.

Thank you again.

If I can ask for help again. Could someone please translate the above record for me? Looking for entries for Domenico Massoglia and Teresa Reviglio Massoglia. Found my Grandfathers birth in 1875 but I am trying to find his parents marriage record and the birth of his brother and sister. The above record looks like it mentions Domenico and Teresa but not sure. Thank you. Chris

(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... 1292402204 : 11 August 2014), Torino > San Martino Canavese > Nati 1866-1883 > image 76 of 400; Tribunale di Ivrea, Ivrea (Ivrea Court, Ivrea).

The link above (bottom left page) I am almost positive it says parents are Domenico and Teresa Reviglio. I know I am asking a lot but could someone tell me if this is a child born to Domenico Massoglia and Teresa and the name and date please. Thank you so much.

Well it's official. I am the biggest pest on this board! I believe I found another record for Domenico and Teresa. Could someone please look at this record (bottom left) and tell me if I am right? Thank you so much.

Thank you so very much liviomoreno. I not only found my Grandfather's brother and sisters but the name of my Great Great grandparents.
Isn't it strange they named both daughters Maria?
