Birth Record

Post by tannerplumb »

I believe this is a birth record. My mom wants it translated. We’ve been having a hard time finding someone to translate. Any help would be great!

Welcome to the forum! :-)

Here you go...

Dated 21 June 1888 at 9 AM at the town hall.
Before the official... in Moiano appeared Antonia Viola, 46, midwife residing in Luzzano, to declare that at 4 PM on the 19th of the current month, at the house in Via S. Nicola #210, to Palma Romanella, farmer residing in Luzzano, wife of Pasquale Meccariello, residing in Luzzano, was born a female child who was presented to the official and to whom was given the name ANTONIA
Witnesses present to the declaration of the birth: Stefano Del Giudice, 43, landowner; and Luigi Veve, 22, landowner.
The midwife made the declaration and presentation in the place of the husband of Palma Romanella because he was outside of the town for work.

The father's surname was clearer in the index
