September 27, 1897 at city hall…
Maria Venofra, midwife, age 48 appeared and declared that on September 23 a baby girl was born in the residence on Via Calore to Maria Ferrante, farmer/farmer’s wife, wife of Benigno Di Spirito, farmer, domiciled in this comune. The baby was presented and it was declared that she was given the name of Nicolina.
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra
