I'm looking for records from Verbicaro, Cosenza, online. On the Portale site, unless I am mistaken, records only cover 1800-1900. These are mostly the military draft, with some birth, marriage, and death records. Again, please correct me if I am wrong.
When I search the surname Torrano in Verbicaro, not a single female turns up. Women do appear in other searches as mothers or brides.
Are these records only partial? Otherwise, how to account for no female born in this town for a century?

Re: Cosenza records online
At familysearch.org they have 1809-1910. Most are birth, marriage, and death. Many of them on the list at the link below have to be viewed at a family history center, but some are viewable online. In the link below, the ones with a camera icon to the right with a key have to be viewed in an FHC, but the ones with no key can be seen online. Pretty much everything 1866-1910 is viewable online.
