I’ve never seen the “comparso” name different from the fathers.
Do you know why it is different?
Is the baby’s name Modesta Filomena?

Modesta Filomena Serino
Yes, the baby is Modesta Filomena and she was born on 30 July, baptised 31 July 1839. The midwife "appeared" to both present the baby and register her birth, which was not that uncommon, especially if the father was out of town or ill. You'll notice that the same midwife has declared the previous birth as well.
Parents married couple Giuseppe Serino, 37 yo, Tavernero/Tavernaio (Innkeeper), and Rosa Urciuoli, 34 yo, bracciale, both living in this town, Strada Mercato.

Last question for tonight, what does the small print on the top and middle say on this record for Nicolangelo?

Annotation at the top:
It is noted that Nicolangelo Serino contracted marriage with Maria Carmela Ciaramella on 22 November 1877 in Casoria? (Napoli)
Annotation in the middle:
It is noted that Nicolangelo Serino contracted marriage with Colomba Panfilo, 19 May 1875 in Napoli Sezione (Section-Neighbourhood) Mercato.
Sleep well.
