finding all sorts of relatives. Please verity translation

Post by kevinkuta »

I keep finding person after person GG aunt's and uncles.

Can anyone please verify my translation and make sure that I'm not missing anything important in the records.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cat=721177

On 26 June 1885 Vincenzo (father of) Marco Mori (age??), a farmer, reported that on 22 June in Massa Macinaia a female child was born to (mother) Amalia Rossini wife of Marco Mori (son of Vincenzo). Child was named Maria Zelinda.

On 25 Nov 1899 Maria married Antonioni?? In Capannori record #358. This was recorded on 26 March 1990

Thanks for the help

Question (in a round about kind of way)
From previous records, I know that Marco is the son of Vincenzo. Thishis record shows that Amalia is married to Marco son of Vincenzo.
This record also shows that the reporter (of this birth) is Vincenzo (son of Marco) age 80, does this mean that the male names in this family are as follows
Father of Maria Zelinda is Marco
His father is named Vincenzo
his grandfather is named Marco?

If this is the case then I've just found another generation in this line.

Thanks.

That is correct. This record is for Maria Zelinda Mori. The record states that she is the daughter of Marco Mori, (son of Vincenzo Mori) and Amalia Rossini. The birth was reported by her grandfather, Vincenzo Mori, age 80, who in turn was the son of Marco Mori, deceased.
