Occupations

Post by kevinkuta »

One thing I've noticed is that many of the occupations listed in these records don't translate well with google translate. Is there any sort of list somewhere that tells what many of these are?

Thanks

Here are some lists. Not sure if there are any differences between them, as I haven't been through them in a long time.

Hi Kevin
Just bear in mind that, while these lists give you the current English translations of the Italian occupation words, they may not truly indicate what was involved in those occupations during the time period in which your ancestors engaged in them.
