Hello,
I tried to post this a few days ago, but it didn't appear, so perhaps something went wrong.
I have a death record for my great Aunt from Fonzaso. All of the death records from that year contain the wording "anno sesto" or "anno settimo" after the month. I am trying to figure out what this means. Is it a delayed record of some sort? I ask because I am fairly certain this is her death record, as her parents' names are correct, however it lists her age at death as 20, and I know she was born in December 1901. therefore, if she died in 1928, she would have been 27 years (died in June, or at least that is the month on the record). Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Era Fascista ("Fascist Era") was a calendar era (year numbering) used in Fascist Italy. The March on Rome, or more precisely the accession of Mussolini as prime minister on 29 October 1922, is day 1 of Anno I of the Era Fascista.

Thank you! So I will still have to figure out the discrepancy in her age, but at least I understand about the date. Thanks again
