Would someone please help me with the translation of this record. It looks like it has 2 parts just like the Birth/Baptismal records. What is the actual marriage date and what info is on the left side of the page? On the 2nd and 3rd pages there are handwritten notes and names. What are those for? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Re: Help with Marriage record of Giorgio Mandala and Maria Palermo
The left side of the first page is the civil registration and the right side is the parish registration.
The left side has the following info, edited.
October 10, 1835 at town hall of Santa Cristina appeared Giorgio Mandala, age 28, born in Santa Cristina, district of Palermo, laborer, son of Mercurio (deceased laborer), and of Anna d’Orso (deceased), and Maria Palermo, age 19, born in Santa Cristina, daughter of Paolo (deceased laborer) and Rosaria Arcoleo, age 40, domiciled here. The couple indicated their intention to marry.
The right side indicates that on October 11, 1835 the celebration of marriage was carried out at the parish of Santa Cristina and a copy of the intention of marriage was returned to the comune with the marriage information and record in the official records.
The left side of the second page indicates that the mother of the bride consents, then indicates that the intention to marry was posted on the town hall door on the 20th of September. At the bottom and continuing to the next page it lists the documents that were presented. Baptism of each, death certificate of Mercurio Mandala father of the groom, death certificate of Giuseppe Mandala, grandfather of the groom, death certificate of Anna d’Orso, mother of the groom, death certificate of Paolo Palermo, father of the bride, death act of Giuseppe Palermo, grandfather of the bride, the certification of the posting on the door of the comune, and the certification of no opposition to the marriage.
The bottom talks about reading the responsibilities of marriage to the parties and receiving the promises of the spouses in proper form, lists the witnesses carrying on to the next page. It finishes on the last page with the notation that it was entered into the register with signatures of some and declaration that the others didn’t know how to write.

Re: Help with Marriage record of Giorgio Mandala and Maria Palermo
Wow.............thanks so much for all the wonderful information. I didn't have any of these records. I feel bad asking this but I am having a hard time figuring out the dates on the above mentioned records (the dates of birth and death). If any of you have a chance. Thanks again. All of this is so helpful.

5th link is the death record of Paolo Palermo on Aug 12, 1831 at 3:30 in the hospital of S Spirito in Palermo. He was a native of S Cristina, age 40, and was married to Rosaria Arcoleo. He was a day laborer and the son of deceased Giuseppe Palermo and deceased Orsola (her surname is not given in this record). No cause of death is given in the record.

Erudita,
Thank you so much. You are amazing! I know this took a lot of time. I really appreciate it. Thanks to all for helping with this. Just starting to try and get records on my husband's side of the family. Records here are a lot different than Corleone.
