Hi again,
I located the death record late this afternoon of my 4th great grandmother and would like someone when they have time to assist with corrections and/or additions for me. I am so grateful for your help.
Left side of document states: Cattarina Pastore, nate (born) Zucchino.
26 November 1849
Parish of San Lorenzo in Piverone
Hour is (5?)
Catterina Pastore, 70 yrs., a contadina (peasant), living in Piverone.
Husband is Giorgio (Giacinto?) Pastore. Does it say if he is deceased?
Father: Gio Battista Zucchino.
Mother: Maddalena Zucchino (Does this mean she is a cousin since same last name or could she be deceased and at this period of time the death records are reading with the married name but born with a different name like the above. I noted all the documents for the married women in the 1840's and 1850's on these death church records are the same, with a (nate).
Witnesses:
Lorenzo Pastore, 30 yrs., living in Piverone.
Gio Battista Ambrosio, 50's yrs, living in Piverone.

And however, using the married name might not be a rule
