Translation of birth & marriage documents - Bianco

Post by real763 »

Hello, can you help with the translation of the Birth and the Matrimoni Processetti documents for my GG grandfather Pietro Paolo Bianco?

This is the birth record, Image 61:

http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ewsIndex=0;

I believe I have some of it translated. I believe the birth & baptism date are the same. June 8, 1826. In the province of Carlopoli. Father's name Carlo Bianco, age 43, miller? I can't make out the mother's information.

The Matrimoni Processeti is damaged in spots so anything you can get from it would be helpful. Besides the marriage act, I believe Pietro Paolo and his bride, Elisabetta Sulla's birth documents are in this packet. Elisabetta's birth document has been previously translated for me so I don't need that, but there may be a death record too.

Please let me know of anything I may have missed. I appreciate your help.

Thanks, Laurie

The birth record

#51

June 8, 1826 at town hall in Carlopoli appeared Carlo Bianco, age 43, miller, domiciled in this town who presented a male child born of Francesca Maria Mazzei, his legitimate wife, age 38, domiciled with him. The child was born on June 8, 1826 at 6 PM in their home on Strada Brutti. The child was given the name of Pietro Paolo.

The record to the right side indicates that Pietro Paolo Bianco was baptized on June 8 in the parish of Carlopoli.

The marriage record

On the right side it reads that the parish of Cafaffa certifies that the celebration of the marriage of Pietro Paolo Bianco and Elisabetta Sulla was carried out on the February 10, 1848 in the presence of witnesses.

On the second page it lists the documents provided:

3. The death record of the father and partners ancestor of the intended wife
4. ??

On the third page it is a transcription of Francesco Paolo Bianco’s birth record, already translated above.

On the fourth page, a transcription of Elisabetta Sulla’s birth record: On May 16, 1819 at town hall in Caraffa, appeared Francesco Sulla age 45, who declared on that day in his home, a female child was born of Teresa? supporting documents from page 2 of the marriage processetti-

#2 act of death of the father and paternal grandfather of the groom
#3 act of death of the father and paternal grandfather of the bride
#4 act of notification made as above in this town to which there was no intervening opposition.

bbivona did a great job with the translation of a badly damaged marriage record.

Thank you so much. You were able to translate so much more than of that than I would have expected.
