I'm looking for any information about my great-great-grandfather, Quintiliano Giampietro, who left Abruzzo (Ortona de'Marsi/Aschi) and arrived in America on April 20, 1894. He moved to the town of Indiana, in Pennsylvania, where he worked as a miner.
I have found his American passport (does it mean that he was naturalized American?), but I don't know much more about his life in the U.S..
Is there any Italian community that I can get in contact with? Or any association that could help me with my researach? Any info would be precious.
