Translation of Birth Record

Post by marzolinoam »

Attached is a copy of the Baptismal or birth record for Maria Virive. Can someone transcribe it? The names are apparent but why did the cross out the church and what does it state in its place?
Thanks you in advance

Here is what I am seeing...

Normally these extracts of baptism would be written by a parish priest. This extract was filled out by a bursar (l'economo) so the first line was amended to reflect that. Instead of "the undersigned priest of the church of" it reads "The undersigned Bursar of the Church of S. Andrea in Altino" (a frazione of the comune of Montemonaco in Ascoli Piceno Province, Marche)
From the acts of births and baptisms in the parish archives of year 1920:
11 July 1920, Maria Virive, daughter of Antonio and of Anna Bonifazi, legitimate married couple residing in Altino, born in this parish.....and was baptized on 11 July 1920 ... godparents Pietro Bonifazi and Lucia (Anna) Bonifazi.
Released 11 April 1937 (probably for a marriage)
