Birth + Marriage Records of Domenico Filippelli
Hi All, any help translating the below records of my 2nd Great-Grandfather Domenico Filippelli and his marriage to Rosina Gaudio? I found the Marriage Record and Marriage Publication, is there any differing information on the two?

Researching the following surnames: Naccarato, Sanzo, Filippelli, Lembo, Gaudio, Pezzente, Ferrante, Peluso

Dated 10 October 1873 in Mendicino
Appearing before the official was Giuseppe Filippelli, son of Domenico, farm laborer, age 24, residing in Mendicino, to present a male child who he presented to the official and declared was born at 8 PM yesterday (the 9th) to his legitimate whife, Rosa Gaudio, daughter of Vincenzo, spinner, age 22, residing in Mendicino with her husbnd, in their home in contrada Pasquali, and this child was given the name DOMENICO
Witnesses to the recording of the birth: Bonaventuro Ruffalo, son of Filippo, 37, carpenter; and Raffaele Garbasi(?), son of Nicola, cellarman, 29, both residents of Mendicino.
The Marriage and Publication of Marriage acts hold the same information...
Act of Marriage #3
Dated 31 January 1901 at 1:30 PM at the town hall in Mendicino, open to the public.
Before the official (Mayor Pasquale Magliocci) personally appeared:
1 - Domenico Filippelli, unmarried, 27, born in Mendicino, residing in Mendicino, son of Giuseppe, and of Rosa Gaudio, both residing in Mendicino
2 - Rosina Gaudio, unmarried, 21, born in Mendicino, residing in Mendicino, daughter of Salvatore, and of Maria Ruffolo, both residing in Mendicino
Document provided:
~certificate of publication of marriage banns on 13 and 20 January, resulting in no opposition to this marriage.
Witnesses to the recording of the marriage were Domenico Ruffolo, son of Pietro, 42, and Francesco Schiralli, son of deceased Cataldo, 45.
Publication Act includes the ages of the fathers of the spouses.
Giuseppe Filippelli is age 51
Salvatore Gaudio is age 52.
And states that the bride was a minor so the parents of the bride were present to give their consent.

Thank you so much Tessa! So, it appears that Domenico's mother's maiden name is the same as his new wife's. I know Gaudio is a super common surname in the town, so I assume there was no relation and it was just coincidental. What do you think?

Most likely distant cousins. You'll notice on one of the records you posted ( birth of Maria Naccarato) that the official was Luigi Gaudio, son of Pasquale.
It might be an extensive search (4-5 generations back), but it might be interesting to see if you could find the connection
