Caterina Fabiano death

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

Attached is the 1674 death certificate for Caterina Fabiano where her husband is Agostino. It looks like Agostino is still alive? I also see madre and padre but no names after it. Does that mean her parents are unknown?

Thanks

Chris

After the parents it says "non si sa" i.e. "no one knows" so yes, parents unknown.

Like you, I'm understanding the husband is still living.

Thanks Angela.

I was counting on being wrong about her husband still being alive because I think it's impossible for him to be about 85 and live and not knowing his wife's parents.

Thanks

Maybe it was more that the priest didn't know, or that he himself had forgotten. The priests seemed very selective about what they wrote down anyway...... Or maybe the husband had dimentia? Non so??? :?
