Good evening,
I am in hopes someone will look at this death record to help with additions or corrections.
Died 28th of March 1646, Anna Maria wife of Nob. Giovanni Battista Nigri. There is mention of other unrelated deaths here. Church for service is SS Petri and Laurenti and I think she was given Holy Unction. Burial same church or cemetery. I used google to make out the last line of Latin but the translation did not make sense to me.

Thank you very much.

Assistance with Latin death record for Anna Maria Unknown
Re: Assistance with Latin death record for Anna Maria Unknown
She was given the Last Rites (Extreme Unction) but also Confession/Penance, and Holy Communion (viatico)
Mmogno will have to help you with all of the Latin words in the last two lines of the record.

Re: Assistance with Latin death record for Anna Maria Unknown
Dear Erudita (Erudita74) and Mmogno,
Thank you both very much for help with the translation of this death record for Anna Maria Nigro. The other day Mmogno had given me the Latin for 1678 record for Giovanni Battista Negro which had some of the same Latin for this record so I placed it in Google which translated this:
"omnes in domo sua et in Communione Sancte Matris Ecclesie
a domino Bartolomeo Gagna ???? confessi, sanctissimo Viatico refecti et sacri olei unctione roborati etiam per me et in Ecclesia et eius Cimiterio parochiali sepulti." to this:
All of them in the house of their own, and in the communion of the Holy Church, a master Giovanni Gagne restored with the Holy oil buried in the churches cemetery. It did not make a great deal of sense to me so I did not use this part of the translation here.
I always prefer yours Erudita or Mmogno's translation as they are always to the point and correct. So that being said, I can see the Latin and English plainly with your help. This will help with future translations. Once again, I appreciate all of your help and
Grazie,

Sometimes google translator can be helpful; at other times, it is completely wrong. So I usually caution posters not to use it, if at all possible. Happy when I can help you, and even happier that there are volunteers like mmogno and Pippo here who have a better grasp of the Latin language than I do and who can take you beyond what I can do for you with that language.

Dear Erudita (Erudita74),
You have been such a help to me always with all of your translations and your comments and you are very good with your Latin. I know Mmogno and PippoM are such great translators and are both such a great help to me as well. We are so fortunate to have you all as volunteers and I hope that many appreciate your efforts as much as I do. Without you all, I would not even know about any of my Italian ancestors; I am at my 10th great grandfather- can you believe it and still so excited that we found so much information not long ago on my first and second etc. Today, I had to post for help with the search for Pietro Nigra(o's) birth record as I am at the end of the Latin records (1500's) and I tried the search but to no avail as they now are too hard for me to decipher. I totally agree with you on Google; it is OK with a few words to translate but not with sentence structure. Well, you have a great day and
