Need help reading Italian handwriting
Need help reading Italian handwriting
Hello
I have been searching through records for my great-great-great-grandfather's birth record and finally found it but can't read most of it. His name is Giuseppe Migliarese and I can see that his father is Raffaele (looks like 38 years old and from Principato Ultra) but I can't read his profession, the address, or his wife's name and information. Can you help? It's image #34 in 1815 Grottaminarda as noted below.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Raffaele was 38, and his occupation was "salassatore" bloodletter for medical purposes. First time I've seen this occupation.
I don't believe there is a specific street address stated.
His wife's name was Agnese Faretra who was 36.

Re: Need help reading Italian handwriting
Thank you. That's a creepy occupation. Can I please bother you with one more? I've been combing through these documents looking for siblings and came across one that might be a sibling of Giuseppe as it looks like the father is also Raffaele Migliarese but the mother's name I can't read.
If it lists the occupation of the mother I would love to know that as well. This record is image #29 in 1813
Thank you so much for your help.

In this record Raffaele Migliarese is a witness, not the father of the child

Oh, that's why his name was in that second paragraph. Ok, well the search continues for Giuseppe's siblings. Thank you so much.
Re: Need help reading Italian handwriting
I have another I need help with. I can't read the profession for the father, Felice Conte on this birth record for his daughter, Maria. Also, I can't read the mother's name or her profession.

Re: Need help reading Italian handwriting
It's me again with another handwriting snafu. I found two birth records for a child born to Giuseppe Migliarese and Maria Conte and in both records it looks like the child's name is Giacinto, one born in 1843 and one born in 1847. Do I have the child's name wrong or is it possible the first died and they named the second the same?

Thank you for looking into this. does the document state the cause of death?
Re: Need help reading Italian handwriting
Thank you for all of your help. I didn't know that "landowner" could be a profession.

Re: Need help reading Italian handwriting
I have your help again. I found the marriage doc for my Gx4 grandparents (Raffaele Migliarese and Agnes Faretra) but I can't read his profession or the names of the parents of bride and groom.
