Pietro Franco death record estratto

Post by calabresi »

Hello,

http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... 6.jpg.html

I have an estratto di morte of my 3x Great-Grandfather, Pietro Franco, but for the life of me I can't figure out any information on it other than the date of death (14 October 1849).

The Angela Marra mentioned in the death record is his wife, but I can't decipher if she is already dead, listed as his spouse, or something else.

I can't read Pietro's parents names, and it looks like there's something up with his mother's last name (I can read "cognome" but nothing else).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm reading:

Pietro Franco, husband of Angela Marra, was 60 yo, born in Orti, a bracciale (day labourer), son of deceased .... "manca il nome"

It doesn't show the parents names. What it says is "manca il nome" which means that "the name is missing". The parents were both deceased, and Angela Marra, is living. (The mother's wording is "deceased, also missing the name and surname".)

Yes, died on 14 October 1849.

Here's the original death record: Death No 36: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ewsIndex=0

As you can see, neither parents names were written on the original death record.

The original doesn't say that he was born in Orti, it just says that he was living there.
