Help with translation please

Post by isaballe »

Hello, I'm hoping someone can translate the death record for Carmelo Barbera. This is my grandmother's brother that I've been searching for. Did he die in Palermo? Was his family residing in Palermo or Patti. Thank you.

I read that "yesterday" (but date is missing), Carmelo Barbera died in San Saverio's Hospital.
He was 34, a sailorman, born in Patti, son of deceased Matteo, and Domenica Barone, husband of Calogera Falcone.
Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi
