In a 1747 Riveli record there's the phrase "in due sole stanze".
I assume that means "only two rooms", rather than "two sunrooms".
Wouldn't sunrooms be rooms of the sun - due stanze del sole?
The reason I ask is because I thought most houses in 1747 were small, so why point out that there were "only" two rooms?
Two rooms
