January 25, 1904 at town hall appeared Domenico Crivello, a single man, age 24, born and resident in Termini, son of Antonino (Crivello), resident of Termini, and of Maria Matracia, resident of Termini,

and

Maria Carmela Cassone, age 16, homemaker, born in and resident of Termini, daughter of Mariano (Cassone), and of Chiara Mercurio residents of Termini, who requested to be united in marriage.

Third document
Domenico Crivello, son of Antonino.

At the town hall in Termini Imerese appeared Anna Scarpaci, age 31, seamstress, domiciled in Termini, who declared that at 7 a.m on July 2, 1879, Giuseppa Matricia, age 23, seamstress, wife of Antoninio Crivello, age 32, fisherman, both domiciled here, gave birth to a male child who was given the name of Domenico.

It appears that the second document is a continuation of the third one.

Not necessarily. Many females are named Maria (in honor of the Blessed Mother) and also a second given name. Then, because of the number of women named Maria, they are referred to by their second name.

Domenico's mother COULD be Maria Giuseppa Matricia. :-)

Further verification needed. Perhaps the births/marriages of Domenico's siblings?

Correcting my original translation. On further review I think that this one is also Matracia. Sorry about that.
