help with translations - Marriage Publication

Post by JohnBhoy »

I am looking for some help with the translation of this Marriage Publication...entry number 16 right hand side

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cat=973032

Marriage cert is for Listello, surname of both bride and groom.

Any info at all is welcome, I think the groom may be linked to by ancestors, could be wrong with what I think I have picked out - it looks like his fathers name is Giacomo which was the name of my GGGG Grandfather but I don't have his wife' name yet ( my GGGG Grandmother) in this it looks like Maria Cecilia Bonando a peasant farmer.

Thanks in advance,
John

The record is dated 21 December 1889

The groom is age 30, a farmer, and son of
deceased Giacomo, who was also a farmer; and of deceased Maria Cecelia Bonando.

The bride is age 28, and the daughter of deceased GioBattista, and of living Marianna Listello.

Banns were posted on 22 and 29 December, and 2 January.

The margin notation does not relate to the marriage. It is the closing of the register by the official.

Thank you both once again, I am unsure if he is related yet, my GGG Grandmother gave birth to a child in 1856 and 1869 (from what I have so far) for him to be her brother may be a long stretch as she could have been in her 20's when he was born.
Just need to piece together more records to find if and how they could be related.

Many thanks,

John
