Dated January 1911 at 10:30 AM at the town hall.
Before me, Asterio Agostinucci, Secretary delegated by the Mayor with act of 6 March 1901 as Official of the Civil records of the town of Gubbio, appeared Luigi Picccotti, son of Giuseppe, of age 34, laborer residing in Gubbio, to declare to me that at 1 AM on the 23rd of the current month at the house in Sem???? #16, from his union with a woman who was not his wife, and not related , was born a male child who was not presented to me, and to whom was given the name GALLIENO
To the above and this act were present as witnesses [to the recording of the act], Nazzareno Cassetta, 39, farmer; and Nazzareno Bellucci, 38, farmer, both residing in this town.
I dispensed with the presentation of the child for reasons of health after being assured of the truth of the birth.
I read the present act to the participants and with me signed only the declarant, as the others were illiterate.
Margin note:
Gubbio 19 August 1911
The above son was recognized and legitimzed by his parents Luigi Piccotti and Marsilia Cal...la (surname cut off in image) by their marriage celebrated in this town office 19 August 1911, #119, Parte 1a.
