Maddalena Linquiti researching

Post by mikeno80 »

Maddalena was my 3x's great grandmother, her son Girolamo my 2x's great grandfather. She was living when Girolamo married my 2x's great grandmother Annina. I've seen what looks like variations of her last name as Linguidi/Linquiti/Linguiti. Her age in Alfonso's Nati is the only one that seems off, the other records seem to have her birth possibly April-July 1843. Elisabetta is the earliest child birth I can find, so I would guess Maddalena and Nicola married in the 1861-1863 range. So ?... I know a lot of the time the marriage/records were in the brides hometown Were there ever records, Matrimoni processetti, kept in the grooms hometown? I'm just trying to narrow down the search for her birth town, any ideas?

Thank you so very much Suanj.

Luisa was born the year before Maddalena, they are the only siblings I have found so far in those records. I wish the marriages didn't cut off.

It could be possible that maddalena married also in Napoli, Avvocata district, like Luisa- The her first child was born on 1864 in Teano. The marriage was performed always in the bride town, so in Napoli.. You can try here, no index, so it is a big problem http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... Matrimoni/
