November 4, 1904 at noon at the town hall in Ari appeared

Vitale Passeri, age 44, farmer, born in Chieti, resident in Ari, a widower, son of unknown parents, and

Elisabetta Laerzia, age 21, farmer, born in Orsonga, resident in Ari, daughter of Diogene (Laerzia), resident in Ari, and of Filomena Damiano, deceased, resident in life of Osogna

who requested to be united in marriage. All documents having been filed, the spouses took their vows before witnesses Giuseppe Centosanti, age 46, shoemaker, and Rinaldo D’Amore, age 30, shoemaker, both residents of this comune. The documents presented included certification of the publications of intent, first on September 25 and second on October 2.

Before the witnesses the spouses have also disclosed that to their union was born a daughter and that as their natural child, with this act the daughter named Mercede is recognized as their own child and her birth is legitimized. The act read to the participants, all signed other than the wife because she does not know how to write.
