Marriage No 77: Francesco di Rico and Sabbia de Grandis
Orsogna: 21 December 1899

Appearing before the Mayor were:

Groom: Francesco di Rico, 57 yo, contadino, born in Orsogna, residing in Orsogna, the son of the deceased Giuseppe (di Rico), who had resided in this town when living, and of Annantonia di Rico, who resided in said place.

Bride: Sabbia de Grandis, 48 yo, contadina, born in Orsogna, residing in Orsogna, the daughter of Fioravante (de Grandis), who resided in the town, and of the deceased Teresa Pace, who resided in said place when living.

Witnesses present were Vincenzo Pace, 63 yo, proprietario (landowner), and Raffaele Raducci, 68 yo, calzolaio (shoe maker)

The pubblications were posted on 10 and 17 December 1899.

The bride and groom declared that that from their natural union were born five children, each of whom were registered in the town:

Giuseppe di Rico, 25 April 1877, Birth Act No 26
Maria di Rico, 13 October 1879, No 258
Rocco di Rico, born 26 May 1882, Birth Act No 149
Domenico di Rico, 11 May 1884, Birth Act No 143
Emidio di Rico, 13 September 1886, No 227

The bride reported that at the time of the births she did not wish to be named and confirmed that they were all her children. Through this marriage act each child was legitimised.

All present signed the document, except the bride and groom who were unable to write.
