Musa Family Brooklyn.

Post by MaddalenaNYC »

Still seeking Musas from Brooklyn. Most incredibly and happily, a distant Musa cousin and I have connected.
We are seeking the descendants of Joseph Musa who died of the Spanish Flu in Brooklyn. He left behind a widow named Mary, Italian born , as was he and three children; William, Edna, who married a William Bennett, and Albert. All the children were born in the US.
They lived on Vermont Street in East NY Brooklyn.
I have found Edna in the 1940 census and the boys in World War Two records.
There must be some descendants out there.

I did see a newspaper publication of the marriage license at the following:

I would suggest that you search for the others.

Thank you for your reply. This is not our Uncle Joe. Ironically, I Have lived in the neighborhood of Brooklyn mentioned in the newspaper for I 33 years but our Musas lived in East NY, Brooklyn.
But it was kind of you to take a look.

I have trolled the Online Brooklyn old time newspapers for years. I found my great grandfather, my grandfather, Uncle Louie and many of my fathers first cousins.
Thanks again for chiming in.
