the links are for 1883 birth act #404 pages 1 and 2.

i would appreciate a translation of what is written at the end of the act(page 2). as i understand, angelo gasparo, some type of official at a prison, presented the child. were both parents in jail? in castelbaronia?

Yes,
Angelo Gasparo was the chief of the prison guards, and he declared the birth, as a delegate of the director.

The parents were ordinarily resident of Castelbaronia. The mother was in prison in Ariano. The father was in prison, too, (so, he could not declare the birth) but it is not said where.
