Translating a small bit of a document is difficult, because of the lack of contest
Basically it says that the declarant assisted to the birth in the capacity above stated (I suppose she is the midwife) and that she declares the birth because the husband of the above mentioned Trombetta (I suppose this is the surname of the mother) is absent
If you can post the whole document or better still a link we can help you better

Thank you so much for that. I was OK with the rest of the document as it was on pre-printed form. It's just that the handwriting in the provided phrase was hard to decipher.

Only I can't decipher the word that explains why the father is absent "perchè in ..........gna" Maybe someone else has an idea,,,,
