Post by tarheel56 »

Hi! I need a translation of a marriage record for Joanes Franciscus Meinellus in the middle of the right page:

Thanks!

I'm attempting this since no one else has.

The groom was the widower of deceased Domenica (then there is what looks like Lebovo, which is underlined, followed by Bedina). I don't know if the underline is indicating that the name Lebovo is an error. Can't find any such first or last name. I don't think it's referring to a first name like Liborio. I know that the surname Bedin is found in Torino.

The bride's first name looks like Elena, the daughter of Giovanni Battista de Janasso (I know that Gianasso is a surname in Torino, but don't know if the name Janasso is meant to be that surname.

The date was Oct 25, 1735. The banns of marriage resulted in no legitimate or church related impediments to the marriage.
