Find Ellis Island Tourist Record

In 1955, my grandmother, Mariantonia Lorusso (maiden name Fariello), after over 30 years in the US went back to visit Italy via a ship (think the Constitution) and the relatives she left there. Days later, my grandfather, Evangelista Lorusso, lonely for his wife also departed by ship to meet up with his wife. They came back to the US together on the same ship, The Independence. Here's the manifest for their return (see lines 23 and 24):

I can not find the manifest for the ships that took each of them to Italy. Would appreciate if someone can find them.
