1891 birth act #350 - ariano di puglia

on first page, under the birth act and name, it reads she is stillborn. However, above the line with her name, in a box: "Maria, e che risconosco essere sen??? ", then "Si approva la cancellazione."

below that is : Maria, e che riconsoco essere senza vita.

on second page, last line reads "Si apporva l'interlinia." the in line is approved

so, is the approved cancellation that she was NOT still born.

thanks

Maria was born without life.

In the recording of the stillbirth, the clerk mistakenly wrote the statement that the child was "recognized to be without life" on the wrong line. It is THAT line that has been cancelled and approved. The statement was then written on the correct line.
