Help me understand this bank receipt

Hi all,
I found this receipt related to telegram/telegraph. Or maybe a bank payment or transfer? Angelo diMeco is my grandfather, Giuseppe diMeco is my g-grandfather. I'm mostly interested to know who this is too or from (my assumption is that it originated in Italy, where Giuseppe was at the time, Angelo was in the US). I also think that the signature at the bottom, the smaller one partially obscured by the postmark, is Giuseppe's actual signature. Also what's your take on the works Batteria Sequa-? I'm wondering if that's some sort of address. Thanks for your input!

This is the "return receipt" of an "insured letter" whose addressee was Giuseppe.
In fact, what you read near the postmark, is his signature. The sender seems to be a Bank in Naples.
"Batteria Acquasanta" seems to be Giuseppe's address. The one place where I've been able to find it is in Roma, and it was a military building. Was he there, at that time?
The "value" of the letter seems to be 500 (lire), that was much, at that time. So, maybe it contained money, orthe "letter" was just a way to formalize money shipping, that was not actually shipped, but just handed to the addressee.

That's pretty interesting Pippom and Mmogno. I thought I was good at detective work. You guys are amazing! I don't know if Giuseppe ever lived in Roma, he was born and died in Pescara as far as I know and would have been 70 years old at the time of this bank receipt. But who knows, any thing could happen. He did have a son that lived in Rome during that time, who I believe may have been in the military service so maybe that's the connection.
