stature and build - what does "growing" mean? - stout? muscular? tubby?

eyes could be "light" in color

I think "crescente" has the meaning of "more than regular", but I'm not sure, as it is not used in this sense, nowadays.

So he was born in 1913, but it doesn't say what year the ID Papers were drawn up. If he was a teenager or younger, then the word crescente (growing) would make perfect sense.

He came over at 16 but I have a passport of his and he looks much younger than that.

Great!!! Thanks so much for confirming his age. I suspected that he may have been a young man, so I would suggest that would be why the description "growing" was given.
