Very difficult to decipher due to the condition of the record-

I believe the birth record (which is on the left) is dated Dec 3, 1842, and that the birth of Pasquale Valente took place on the 2nd at 2 P.M., with the baptism on the 4th in the parish of the town of Trani. Father: Giuseppe Valente, age 30. I can't decipher his occupation. Mother: Francesca -her surname looks like Mocchia to me, but I see that the current spelling of this surname in the town is Moccia. She was also age 30.

Do you have their marriage record or a record for another child born to this couple which can confirm this info? I started going through some of the indices, but don't have the time to further pursue this for you.
