Accessing Military Records

Post by cindatoffee »

Hi all,

I would like to access my biological grandfather's military records and wondered if anyone could help me figure out how to access them.

I know his name, that he was from Reggio Calabria and roughly when he was born, but no more than that.

Any help is gratefully received.

You could try with the Archivio di Stato di Reggio Calabria, that holds military records.
But you'd need to know the exact place of birth and at least a birth year.
Can we help you with this?
