Comune in Como

Patricio, seeming to me that the word is mispelled wishing write Varese, maybe... Varese was in Como province in old time. If you can add the parent's names, especially the mother maiden name maybe could be helpful.... but "Carrerse" don't exist.. i believe that maybe wanted to write Varese..

His Mother name was Saporiti.
He also was married with somebody it is presumed to come from the same comune
This is from another marriage certificate of a brother.

Yes I understand, but I found that Ambrogio, by his marriage with Maria Marchi, was the son of Giuseppe (Josè) and Rosa .... if my find is abt the right Ambrogio (Ambrosio) because on the marriage that you posted he was 26 old and this Ambrogio is the only Ambrogio Castiglioni married aged of 26:

I think also, tht is some place in Varese rovince currently and in the past in Como province.. the surnames are populars in the area....

Hi, yes, i pretty much did all the trees in familysearch for those records or Argentina. And they seems to be brothers.

Wow thanks, this really correlates with something. I have found for a long time this Census record but couldnt find any town with that name. ALl I could understand was Correggio, but may that was miswritten and looks very similar than Menaggio

No on the census it is wrote another word. Juan was no born in Menaggio, just Margherita... seem to me that is wrote CARNAGO ( mispelled in Carniaggo) or CASCIAGO (mispelled in Carniaggo also... ) both in Varese province, currently. Or some name similar I cannort read very well...... The best evidence is the surname SAPORITI, maiden name of Ambrosio and Juan's mother.. that is no in the current Como province municipalities but in the municipalities of Varese province as a well Castiglioni.
