Re: Marriage notation translate
Dec 5, 1873 at 10 a.m. in the town hall
Appearing were the prospective groom and bride and their two chosen witnesses. The witnesses were ? Taddeo (I can't decipher his first name), son of deceased Salvatore, age 33, sailor, and Michele Esposito, of deceased Giovanni, age 73, sailor, both living in this town.
Groom: Antonio Salvato, age 26, sailor of adult age, never before married, born and living in Castellamare, son of deceased Ferdinando and Raffaela Amore
Bride: Chiara Costanza, age 20, seamstress, of minor age, never before married, daughter of Raffaele , sailor, and Rachele Esposito
The rest of the document is basically the exchanging of the vows and them being pronounced husband and wife.
The certificate of the marriage publications, and all the other documents, were inserted in the volume of the allegati.
The spouses and witnesses were illiterate and did not sign the act.
