Hi there:

I am trying to find the email address for the Ascoli Piceno department that handles death certificates. Can someone look at the site and see if they can figure it out that speaks Italian. I have written a number of emails but gotten no response.

1. I think you refer to the Comune of Ascoli Piceno
(if you refer to all the Province, you should find before the Comune of interest)
2. For the Comune of Ascoli Piceno, their site shows clearly the various offices :

3. You should explain what you are looking for:
--if you need a photo of the death act for genealogy research, as those on Family Search, you should ask a 'copia integrale' of the act, sent to you by e-mail: it should be sent without any tax or payment, wait two or three weeks, perhaps more.

-- if you need to ask Italian citizenship, you should ask a certificate for this purpose.
It may be also bilingual (Italian/Spanish, Italian/English) in the case you should show it also to the authorities of your Country (this in certain Countries, such as Argentina, don't know in the USA).

4. For any request, enclose to the mail a copy of both sides of an Identity Document.
If you are in the US, it may be a Driving Licence, an Identity Card of your State, a Federal Document.

Addition:
if you ask the death act of one of your ancestors, it's better to explain also that you are a descendant.
