Ancestors of Domenico Musacco

My grandfather, Domenico Musacco, was born in the village of Adelfia Canneto belonging to the municipality of Adelfia, in the Province of Bari, Region of Puglia. Anjy information you can find about his ancestors will be very much appreciated.

I also would like more information on my grandfather, Domenico Musacco. I was told that he was fisherman but I have no confirmation of this. I was told he was a highly decorated Capitan in the Italian Army. One of my paternal uncles is said to have lost all his medals as well as all the family photos and important documents that were in several boxes, after his mother passed. His surviving his sisters never let him live it down so I was told. LMAO. Any biographical information you can find about him will be very much appreciated.

Sadly, I no longer have a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate. I believe he was born 1874. When I go to have my passport renewed in Los Angeles, will they, for a charge, make copies of what I submitted 10 years ago.

Our neighbors growing up here in Los Angeles were Barese. The husband (whose name was also Domenico) was from Canneto & the wife from nearby Aquaviva. their surnames were Di Tomaso (Di Tommaso) & Macchia... My mother's BFF was the wife (Adelina).

On April 30, 1874 a male child was born to Michele Musacco, of deceased Domenico, age 47, farmer, and wife living with him in Canneto, Angela Bruno, of deceased Michele, age 43, spinner.

The child was to be named Domenico.
