Translation of Civil Record
Re: Translation of Civil Record

From the two pages above, it is impossible to give you the names of the groom and bride and also the date of their marriage. However, there are certain things you can learn from the info there, which may then help you track down their marriage date and get their names.
On the left hand page, we learn the month and date of the notification of their solemn promise but not the year. The date was Feb 24 of the current year, whatever that year was.
Next you have a list of supporting documents presented for the marriage.
1. the birth act of the groom whose date of birth was June 21, 1788 in Racalmuto.
2. birth act of the bride-she was born in San Cataldo on March 2, 1805
3. on the right page, left column, the death of the groom's father (name not given) in Racalmuto on June 26, 1812
4. death of paternal grandfather of the groom (name Carlo di Puma) Feb 12, 1777
5. is a repeat of #4
6. act of death of Anna Tellone (sp???) first wife of the groom in Racalmuto on June 15, 1832
7. act of death of the father of the bride in Racalmuto on Dec 29, 1830-his name not given
8. act of death of Vincenzo Maietta, paternal grandfather of the bride (now you have her birth surname) in Racalmuto on June 9, 1777
9. act of death of the mother of the bride in Racalmuto on Oct 25, 1832-name not given
10. act of death of Ignazio Apro` first husband of the bride died in Racalmuto on March 7, 1737-the first marriage more than 10 months ago
11. act of notification which resulted in no opposition to the current marriage
conserved in the volume of allegati on foglio (page) 104
So now you have some clues to help you track down the second marriage for the groom and bride.

Re: Translation of Civil Record
Thank you very much.
From my Tree, I think that Anna Tellone is actually Anna Bellomo.

Re: Translation of Civil Record
I found page 1 on another Tree. See attachment.
From other records, Vincenzo Maietta is actually Vincenzo Mantione. The bride is Felicia Catalda Mantione and the groom is Carlo Pagliarello Puma.

Glad you were able to locate the initial page of the record so quickly.
The solemn promise on the left is dated on April 14, 1839 in the town hall of Racalmuto.
The groom Carlo Puma Pagliarello is said to have been 40 years and 9 months at the time, but based on the date of his birth act given in the record, he should have been closer to 51. He was a contadino (peasant/farmer) living in the San Francesco district or neighborhood of the town. He was the son of Calogero, who was of the same occupation, when he was alive and living in the town. His age of 50 in life, is the age he was when he died in 1812, making his born abt 1762. Antonina Ruggieri was the groom's mother and age 40 in life, also living in the town when she was alive.
The bride was Felicia Catalda Mantione-yes the surname is clearer here-and was age 34 and 2 months at time of this marriage. Her age is only off by abt 3 weeks, I believe, since the record has her birth act at March 2, 1805. She was living in the same district or neighborhood as the groom. Her father, Filippo, was age 60 in life (born abt 1770) and also a contadino who lived here when he was alive. Her mother's name was Vincenza Salvo, who was age 60 in life and also living in this town.
The right column-the marriage took place on the 21st of April in the parish of Racalmuto. Witnesses were (Don)* Nicolo Alfano and (Maestro)* Simone Mantia. *titles
