Translation of an Atti di Matrimonio - 1881

Post by kj2727 »

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help with translating the attached Atti di Matrimonio (1881 - marriage between Agostino Briglia and Angela Russo - Marsicovetere), particularly the handwritten area at the bottom of the document. I know it's hard to read, but I'd love some help here.

Thanks so much!

Record #6
Dated 17 February 1881 in Marsicovetere
Groom: Agostino Briglia, 21, farmer, born in Marsicovetere, residing there, son of Berardino, residing there, and of Caterina Di Gilio, residing there
Bride: Angela Russo, 23, farmer, born in Marsicovetere, residing there, daughter of deceased Angelantonio, and of deceased Teresa Briglia.
Last paragraph states that the publication of marriage banns was posted on 30 January last, and on 6 February.
The parents of the groom were present to give consent.
