There is no mention of a spouse for Carmela Zappavigna.

Carmela was born in Tresilico, daughter of deceased Saverio Zappavigna, and of deceased Rosa Mazzapica.
Carmela's occupation is listed as travagliatrice. She was age 38.

Note: The occupation travagliatore is defined as "tormentor" and is a rare and archaic term. I suspect that it may relate more to someone who struggles to survive. Just my opinion.
