New proceedings regarding Citizenship by descent after June 22nd 2022

Hi all,

So far, all proceedings for the establishment of Italian citizenship was ruled by the Court of Rome, after June 22nd 2022 new proceedings must be submitted to the District Court of Italian ancestor’s native town.

Do you think that local District Court Judges will make different decisions than the ones made by the Court of Rome Judges?

There is no way to tell, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some variation from comune to comune. After a few decisions have been made, we will have a better idea.
