LoNigro

Post by forestmaiden71 »

Hello. I'm looking for information about Raffaele Lonigro and his wife Raffaele Lonigro.
What I know:
Raffaele Lonigro- birth: about 1777, death: between 1844 and 1860
Grazia Pietrantonio - Birth: about 1776, death: before 1860

They were the parents of Maria Rosa Michela Donata Lonigro who was born 3 June 1817 in Valenzano. (No death date known)

For reference: Here is the birth of Maria Rosa (#40)
It gives the names of her parents' fathers.
Raffaele is the son of Pietro Lonigro
Grazia is the daughter of Rocco Pietrantonio

Do you know if Maria Rosa was married? In Valenzano?

For reference: Maria Rosa's marriage in 1844 (#20)
As you say, both parents are living at the time of this marriage.

Continuing...

Here is the death act of Giuseppe Ungari, spouse of Maria Rosa Lonigro.
#6, Parte II, of the Valenzano register of deaths.
Giuseppe died in October 1891 in Cerignola, where he was residing. His death is recorded there, with a copy sent to be recorded in the town of Valenzano.
Giuseppe is listed as the widower of Maria Rosa Lonigro ---- so Maria Rosa died before 1891.
