Hello,
I was looking for some help translating a few documents I see in the marriage - allegati of my great great grandfather and grandmother from Gaggio Montano. The team has helped with some prior translations, but I was able to find what I think are perhaps their birth records as part of the marriage documents Marriage of Domenico (Andrea) Guidotti to Marianna Cheli.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1947797
The record goes from page 53 and ends on 74.
Just to confirm the first few pages are just the copies of the birth records of the children that through a previous translation they were recognized with the marriage? (these were previous translated from the actual birth records so translation isn't needed I was just trying to make sure there were no other details)
Is page 61 the birth record of Domenico Andrea Guidotti?
On page 69-70 I'm not sure what this record is or how its related it appears to be a death record?
Is page 73 the birth record of Marianna Cheli?
Thank you,
D

correct. Notice that in one of them was erroneously stated that Marianna was Domenico's wife at the time of child birth
Is page 61 the birth record of Domenico Andrea Guidotti?
It is the baptismal certificate of Domenico Andrea, son of Battista Guidotti and Anna Guccini, legitimate spouses, born on Nov 4th, 1850, in "casa Portola", and baptized on 5th in the parish of San Michele. Godmother was Maria Palma (I didn't know that "santola" is used the mean "godmother") Maria Palma Gualandi, Girolamo guccini's wife
On page 69-70 I'm not sure what this record is or how its related it appears to be a death record?
It is the death certificate of Caterina Castelli, who passed away on Feb 15th, 1880. She was 21 and a housewife, born in Lizzano Belvedere, daughter of deceased Pietro, and Domenica Cheli, and Andrea Guidotti's wife (I guess this was Domenico's first wife)
Is page 73 the birth record of Marianna Cheli?
It is a baptismal certificate for Marianna Catterina, daughter of Domenico Cheli and Pasqua Taglioli, born in Lizzano on Oct 18th, 1852 at 9am, and baptized on day 19. Godmother was Albina Taglioli

Re: Help translating Marriage - Allegati Documents
This is fantastic information thank you for the translations. The family was never aware of the first marriage. I went through the records this evening and was able to locate the marriage from 1877.

On number 444 is this a prior copy of Domenico's birth certificate... any additional information?
On 454 I think it could be another death certificate? Was one of them married prior? Catterina seems very young from what I've seen at least in my family documents if it were her.
Thanks again,
D.

No, it doesn't add anything

It's the death certificate of Caterina's father
